440 Records was formed in 2002 to meet the needs of Loudlove, a band we were very impressed by and sought out to offer some assistance in meeting their career goals. Founder and manager Chris Ryan brings eleven years of marketing, management and information systems experience working for one of Canada's most successful private companies to the 440 Records table. As a long time supporter of independent music here in Ottawa and his native Halifax, Chris decided it was time to combine his business career with his love of music. 440 Records strives to foster a mutually agreeable relationship specifically tailored to each independent artists needs.
